Rooted in Tradition

For over four decades, we have been dedicated to the art of the harvest. Mark and Dolly McCall are the proud owners of McCall Farm in Penrose, North Carolina. As fourth generation farmers, they are honored to continue the legacy that began with Mark's great-grandfather on the very same family land.

McCall Farm is a produce farm best known for its fresh, locally grown sweet corn; along with a variety of seasonal fruits and vegetables. Mark and Dolly have dedicated their lives to caring for the land, serving their community and sharing the rewards of each harvest. Education has always been important to their family. Mark earned his doctorate in Mathematics from Virginia Tech, while Dolly earned her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from UVA Wise. Together, they have combined their knowledge, hard work and love of farming to grow a successful family business.

They raised two sons on the farm and now enjoy the blessing of five grandchildren- with more to come. For the McCalls, farming is more than a livelihood; its a family tradition build on faith, hard work and a commitment to quality that is as deep as the soil we cultivate, for generations to come.
